Christmas at the Davis's

The day after Christmas we went to Ohio to celebrate with my Aunt and Uncle and cousins and my Grandma. I was really bad and did not take any pics. Shame on me I know! There were so many camera's going I didn't bother to get mine out. So anyway, we had a great time. The kids love playing with Ashley and Evan and we love catching up with everyone. We don't get to see each other that often and when we do it goes so fast. Everyone got wonderful gifts and had a great time together. Thank you Claude, Sara, Ashley and Evan for a great time!

Mimi and the Babies
On Christmas Day we spent the day at my Mom's (Mimi). We had a great day. We don't open presents till the late afternoon because Andrea and Baron go to his Dads house and Johns boys spend the morning with their mom. So we were able to have a nice big breakfast and play with the toys we got the day before. Grandma came over for breakfast and we got to spend some nice time with her. Mom and John go crazy at Christmas. We all had more presents than we know what to do with! It is always a great time! The kids had a blast! They didn't know what to play with first. Molly's big gift was a slide. We didn't have enough room to bring it home, but we'll get it when we go in January. She got a Bitty Baby from American girl which was one of her favorite gifts. She really loves Bitty. She got a lot of clothes, which is very helpful! Andy and I got a lot of clothes and other fun things! We appreciate all that Mom and John do and hope they have as great a time as we do! Love you guys! Thank you for a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas with Grandpa Jackson

On Christmas Eve we had Christmas with Grandpa Jackson. We had a really nice time. Grandpa went all out! The kids got so much stuff! Molly got a rocking horse, a power quad, some books, an Elmo DVD, and a cd player. Andy and I got a lot of nice things too! We had my favorite pizza and Andrea brought dessert. It is always great to see Dad and I wish we could see him more often. Merry Christmas and thank you for everything, Grandpa!

At Home with Molly

Being Shy
Having a snack
This stuff is good! (Good thing Annabelle doesn't like apples!)
Fat, Lazy Doggy
I have had the pleasure of staying home with Molly the last two days and it has been so much fun! She is such a joy! Yesterday we made a craft to hand out over the next few days. Today we had to go to the Dr. to get the second half of her flu shot. She was such a good girl. She barely cried at all. As a treat I got her a McDonald's happy meal for lunch and some apples. She was very happy. We had the apples and juice later in the afternoon for a treat as you can see from the pics. The dogs have not been that happy that we are home. It is really cutting into their sleep time! We leave tomorrow for Indianapolis, and I am very excited, but I am really bummed that my two precious days at home with Molly are done. They are to few and far between. I am so lucky to have her.

A gift from Molly

When I picked Molly up from daycare on Friday she had a gift for us. She had made us this beautiful birdhouse ornament! It is adorable and we will treasure it always! With all the excitement of the last few days I forgot to put it on here, so here it is. Thank you so much, Molly!

Christmas Day...A little early

Santa Came!

Mommy playing with Molly's toys!

Daddy loves his Ipod touch!

Molly is a little overwhelmed by all the toys!

Her favorite part of the kitchen...the phone!

Hanging out in the wagon!

Pots and pans to cook with!

What a mess!

Stocking stuffers top off everything!
Santa came today! He brought lots of presents for the whole family! Molly slept in a little late today so Andy and I exchanged all of our gifts before she even woke up! We both loved what we got and are so thankful to have each other to share these wonderful memories with. I am so blessed to have such a great and loving husband!
When molly woke up, I think she was a little overwhelmed by all the toys. She loved the kitchen and all the food and pots and pans and dishes that came too. Grandma and Grandpa Dallner got her the great wagon that we can't keep her out of! She loves it! They also gave her the teapot and dishes that go with the kitchen. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Dallner! We can't wait to celebrate more with you in January. We wish it wasn't so far away!
Molly also liked the shake and crash 'em cars Santa brought. The little lap desk she got is so great for her favorite hobby...coloring! She is going to have so much fun playing with all her stuff. I took the week off, so she will have a few days to play with her new toys before we go to Indianapolis and get tons more!
I thank God everyday for such a beautiful family I am so happy to be able to share a great day with Andy and Molly and look forward to the upcoming days with all our family!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve....A little early...

Christmas comes a little early to the Dallner Household. Because we have to travel out of town for the holiday, Santa is nice enough to stop by a few days early. Tonight, we wrote our note to Santa to tell him what Molly would like for Christmas, and since she has been such a good girl this year, I'm sure she will get everything she wants and more (between Santa and Grandparents)!!! Tune in tomorrow to see what Santa brings!
.....And yes, Molly is eating Santa's cookies, and she tried the carrots, but put them back ; )

Cookie Monster, Jr.

We have had a long week. The week started with Molly waking up with a temperature of 101.6 on Monday morning. Poor little thing was so miserable. I stayed home with her in the morning and Andy stayed home with her in the afternoon. She ran a fever all day, but when she woke up on Tuesday she was back to her old self. Just in time for her winter party at daycare. She has been having a good week, although she has been a little more tired than normal.
These are a few pictures of her favorite snack...cookies! She is a chip off her Daddy's block! Daddy was called the Cookie Monster when he was a little boy and now that Daddy has given up sugar she has taken over the title. She has two cookies after dinner almost every night. Tonight Andy and I were cleaning up dinner and she was in the living room standing in front of the couch with her back bent laying her head on the couch (bottom picture) eating a cookie. She is such a stinker!

Anderson Turns 2!!!

What a pretty tree!
Anderson and Molly are 5 months apart.

Molly met a new friend: Henry

Don't make me sit next to a BOY!

Happy Birthday Anderson!

We went to the Judy's today for Anderson's birthday party. It was such a great time. They had chili and hot dogs and more appetizers than you could eat! Anderson is getting to be such a big boy! He and Molly don't really want much to do with each other yet, but I'm sure that won't last long! They do enjoy watching each other though! Chrissy has been my best friend for 12 years now and I am so excited that our kids are growing up together! What a blessing!

Thanks for including us in your big day, Anderson!

Busy Weekend

This has been a very busy weekend for us! Andy and I both had our work Christmas parties this weekend, so my Mom very graciously agreed to come to town to babysit Miss Molly. Friday night we had Andy's work party which was a great time. Mom took Molly out to dinner and to target and they fun. I think Molly thought it was cool she was getting to go somewhere with Mimi alone. They had to come home though, when Molly was falling asleep in the cart!
Saturday Mom and I went shopping in the early afternoon and had a nice time just the two of us. Andy and Molly met us later for a little more shopping and a picture with Santa. Mimi wanted a pic with all of us and Santa so we did that and Molly did much better. Although, we did not try and sit her on Santa's lap this time! When we got home there was a sign up in the neighborhood that Santa was coming by tonight, so we got to see him again! The Maryland Heights fire department puts this on every year and it is really cool. As you can tell from the pics they make a big deal of it, two fire trucks and Santa's sleigh. Molly wasn't thrilled about the visit, but it will be a neat tradition every year we are here.
After that Andy and I were off to my work party, where we had a great time, also! This is my seventh year there so it is always fun to hang out with the people I've worked with forever!
