New Jacket from Mimi!

Today Molly came home to a present from Mimi! (I was jealous) She got this awesome new jacket. She loved it!

Today was also a big day for her because we moved her up to the 3 year old room at school. (She will be 3 in May) Ever since we got back from Florida she has been having trouble going to school. Every morning she would cry and say she didn't want to go. At first I didn't think too much of it, because this is pretty normal after a vacation and she is always fine when I picked her up, but the mornings didn't really get better. She was also getting into more trouble here at home. I happened to notice that there were all new kids in her room. She was the oldest one. Turns out most of her friends had already moved up. Including her best friend, Kate. I talked to her teacher and she felt Molly wasn't being challenged enough any more with all the younger kids in there now. So we requested she be moved up, since everyone was in agreement that she was ready. So, she went to her new room today. She had a GREAT time! She really enjoys the kids in there. I am so relieved. I was hoping we made the right decision. So hopefully she will continue to be happy and challenged!

The Cats Meow

Molly and the cats had a good night. While Andy and I finished dinner, Molly sat down and had some quality time with the Phoebe and Ally. Phoebe loves to be brushed and Ally loved the gentle petting. Molly did a great job being gentle! She loves all the animals and for the most part they love her. Unfortunately, those were clean clothes. Ugh!

A Gift From Aunt Jenn, Uncle Matt and Holly

Molly got a nice surprise today! She got a Valentines present from Aunt Jenn, Uncle Matt and Holly. She was really excited. She got hershey's kisses, cars place mats, a princess and a sticker card. She loved it all. We had to change the princesses dress right away! Thank you so much to Jenn, Matt and Holly! Molly loves all her great stuff!

This morning I had to take Molly to the Dr. for a follow up on her ear infection. Her ears look good, but they wanted to check her hearing to make sure that there was no fluid in her ears. Well, Molly was having no part of that. She thru a fit of epic proportions. The nurse asked the Dr and he said we will just do it at the next appointment. When the nurse left the room, Molly had a huge smile on her face and did a little happy dance. Im not kidding! It was like, "Ha, Ha! I won!" When the nurse came back in, she asked her for a popsicle. She is sooo rotten!

Box Fun!

Andy made Molly a house out of my pampered chef boxes yesterday. She thought that was pretty cool. She colored the inside and moved all her toys in. It was really cute. The cats really liked it too!

Valentine's Day!

Molly got a baby that sits on the potty for Valentines from us
Molly and Gigi got Panda bears for V-Day from Mimi
Addi got some great DVD's from Mimi
Molly got a great bowl and some candy from Auntie An

We had a nice relaxing day at home for Valentine's Day. I am so thankful for my two Valentines. I am so lucky to have a beautiful daughter and a wonderfully supportive husband who has been my strength lately. I am truly blessed!

Happy Birthday Baron!

Baron's birthday is not until the 24th, but we celebrated it here this weekend. We won't see him again before his birthday, so I made a dessert and we gave him a gag gift. We hope you have a wonderful birthday, Uncle Baron! Sorry we can't be there!

City Museum Fun!

On Saturday we went to the City Museum. I'm not sure who had more fun, the adults or the kids. What a great place to expend some energy. None of us have ever seen any place like this. It is full of tunnels, slides, caves and ramps. It was really cool. We went a couple of years ago, when the kids were tiny. They will only love it more in the coming years. Thanks for a great time everyone!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Friday night was the Daddy Daughter Dance at Andy's work. What a great time! Andrea, Baron, Mom, Gigi and Addi came into town so Baron could take Gigi. The girls had a blast! It is always a little stressful for Andy, but the dance went really well. Baron and Andy are both such great Dads. It was fun to see them having a special memory with their girls!

Today when we got home Molly and I had a disagreement about playing outside in the snow. She wanted to play outside and I didn't. So, I felt bad so we went outside. We were out there for about 15-20 minutes. She LOVED it! She had so much fun. We don't even have that much snow. She was running in it and throwing it. Again, when I said it was time to go in (it was a last minute decision to go out there, so we weren't really dressed as warm as we should have been) she had another meltdown. So these pics are from our compromise. (Thanks for the idea, Jessie!) She had so much fun playing with the snow inside. She tried every kitchen gadget I have. She had fun and I was happy we could compromise!
