party time

Build A Bear has become one of Mols most favorite things to do.
So, when we were thinking about what to do for her birthday
I asked if she wanted to take some friends there.
She was thrilled!
It is not the easiest party to have,
for a control freak, that is.
There were a lot of things that were
out of my control, but it turned out
to be really good and relatively stress free.

Ready to stuff....
Sweet boy and his doggy!
Birthday girl chose a bunny.
Everyone was very patient!
Printing our birth certificates.
Buggy had a cute helper.
Some more pics from the store....

This was my favorite detail...
(On a side note, anyone have some good recipes for honey?)
I made the kids bear ear headbands.
They seemed to really like them!
The girls wore them around the house days before the party.
Enjoying some treats.
Nutella Bear Sandwiches.
Seriously yummy.
Bug liked them.
We were singing "Happy Birthday."
Look at that smile.
An awful cute party group.
I had to include this one just for that Laineybug smile.
I think the birthday girl had a great time!
Modeling the ears.
Favors.

We are so proud of our big girl!

it's all about the birthday crown

Our big girl turned 6!
I can't believe it!
Where did the last 6 years go?

We started the day with a donut cake.
She was quite excited!
We continued our new tradition of
waking up to balloons on your birthday.
She was so excited to go to school.
Her teacher does a good job of making it
a special day.
The thing she was most excited about
was the birthday crown that her teacher makes for the
birthday kid.
She was excited to pick pink!
Surprise!
I went and had lunch with my birthday girl.
She was having a great day!
Her after school babysitter threw her a party too!
Then we picked her up and surprised her by taking her to
her favorite:
Build A Bear!
They both had a great time!
After that we headed to McDonalds (A birthday request)
Other than Bug falling straight on her head, it was a great time!
The birthday crown was on the whole time!
This little family of mine is pure happiness.
After dinner we went back home for dessert!
A cookie cake was the request of the night.
How is she 6?
Hope all your wishes come true, girly.
Then it was present time.
Miss Bug didn't quite understand why she wasn't getting any,
but we got through it.
Mols was thrilled with everything she got.
It was such a great night.

This feels like yesterday....
