Quite the Traveler
Today Molly and I flew to San Antonio. We had to leave our house at 4:30am to catch a 6am flight to Atlanta, then catch our connecting flight to San Antonio, then take a taxi to our hotel and wait for Mimi and Gma to get here. She is an amazing little girl. She was so good for me. She did everything I asked of her. She was in a great mood considering I plucked her out of bed at 4:15 this morning. I got so many compliments on how good she was. She is a trooper. I was extremely nervous for this travel day and am very pleased with how it went. Let's hope I didn't just jinx Sunday!

Race for the Cure
Yesterday, I walked in the Race for the Cure to raise money for breast cancer. It was the first time I had ever done it, and it was quite an experience. Not to long ago, my best friend's sister and my friend, Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank Goodness she is now a survivor! So, I walked on her team, Team Jules. It was amazing to see all the people! St. Louis raised 3.2 million dollars for reasearch and had 66,000 walkers and runners. It is very inspiring to see all those people coming together for such a great cause. It is also very inspiring and touching to see all the survivors. But, it is also in the back of your head all the people who have lost their battle. That part is heartbreaking. I hope they find a cure soon, so that none of the other women I love so much will be affected.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Today is Andy's birthday! Over the weekend Molly and I took Daddy shopping for some new clothes. He got some really nice stuff. Today I baked cupcakes and Molly made him several paintings. We had Daddy's favorite dinner--steak. He also got a new wallet. It was a good day for him. Molly really enjoyed the cupcakes! We've been working on singing Happy Birthday, but when it came time to sing it she chickened out. Oh--speaking of chickens....it was petting zoo today at the daycare daycamp and they tell me that Molly LOVED the rooster! How funny is that? They showed me pictures of her and the rooster. It was too funny. I think it is funny that they had all these cute little baby goats and Molly loved the rooster. She is funny.
Her new haircut is growing on me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY! WE LOVE YOU!

Give Me Back My Blood!
Today Molly had to have her blood drawn for her annual lead test. She was such a great girl. She didn't even cry, just whimpered. It really seemed to take it out of her though. She was really grumpy and tired all night. She keep crying about her arm, which I thought was just her being a drama queen, but when it didn't seem to let up I finally gave her tylenol. Which seemed to kick in right before bed, of course, so she was wound up and ready to go then. She is such a sweet girl. I felt so bad for her.
