The famous Cars cake! Molly was most excited about the cake. She couldn't wait for the lady to give her her piece. She asked about 4 times! Give that child her cake!!!!

It was so great that everyone we invited was able to make it. We so love our friends and enjoy the fact that all the kids are close in age. We even got a compliment that this was the most well behaved group ever! Of course!

We would have had to give up time in the gym to open presents. So, we waited till we got home. Molly got so many great things! She doesn't know where to start!

We let the kids make their own snack mix on Saturday night.

Molly, Gigi and Addi had a blast together! They are such good friends. It makes me so happy to see how much they love each other.

More Birthday Week Presents

Today begins Molly's birthday week! Her last week being a 2 year old! Mimi gives birthday week presents, so here she is opening her first one! A camera. As you can tell, she love it, but REALLY loves opening presents!

Today was Mother's Day. We had brunch at Champps in Indy. Luckily, the last few years Mother's Day had fallen on the same weekend as one of the kids birthday parties, so we have all gotten to spend it together. It is so nice being able to spend it with Mom and An. I love them so much and learn so much from them. They make me a better mom. Happy Mother's Day to my mother-in-law who I am so thankful to for raising such a wonderful son and being such a great Grandma to Molly. Happy Mother's Day to all my friends who are wonderful mother's too!

Today I am feeling so blessed to be a mom. This year I have found out that it is not always easy to become a mom. I am feeling very grateful for my beautiful baby girl, that I would be lost without. She is the light of my life and such a joy. I hope that our family gets bigger, but if it doesn't I will thank God everyday that he gave me such a perfect gift. Thank you, God.

We had a blast at Addi's birthday party on Saturday! Monkey Joes is an awesome place! The kids just love it there. They go non-stop! They barely took a break. After Monkey Joes we went to Arnie's for pizza and cupcakes. It was a very nice party and, most importantly, Addi had a blast. His face lit up when he walked into Monkey Joes. Isn't that what its all about? We love you Addi and are so happy we were there to celebrate with you!

Mother's Day Tea

On Friday I went to Molly's school for a Mother's Day Tea. It was sooo much fun. It is so neat to get a glimpse into their day. It is also fun to hear them interact. It is so cute. Molly was very proud that I was there. They made a big sign that said "Happy Mother's Day" and she pointed out the letter that she painted. They planted a flower for us and made the flower (in the second pic) out of their hands with a picture of Molly in the center. I also got a sign that said "World Greatest Mom" with her footprints. I loved every bit of it and am very thankful that I was able to go and do that. They do such a great job at the daycare. I wouldn't miss it!

It's Watermelon Time!

Molly loves watermelon! She is super happy that it is watermelon season again! I can't let her have her watermelon until she eats her other food. Then she will ask constantly, "Now I have my watermelon?" She is so funny! I'm so glad she is a fruit lover! Happy Summer Again!
