The Nursery Preview....

This weekend Andy started working on the nursery.
We decided on brown on the bottom and pink on the top.
Molly was a big help! She was so sweet and kept talking about her baby sister.
Here is the second meal that is ready for the freezer. Lasagna roll ups...yummy!

This has been your nursery preview. I'll show you the finished product soon!

Molly's First Snowman!

Molly has been asking the whole week to build a snowman. She wanted him to have a carrot nose and a scarf!
Daddy did a great job building the body.
I built the head and found the decorations!
Molly wanted to throw snowballs the whole time.
She loves being outside, even when it is freezing!
The dogs were so happy to have company outside!
Louie blends in!
Throwing one of her many snowballs. She would just laugh and laugh!
This is what happens after building snowmen!

52 Days-Preparing for Baby Dallner!

We have 52 days till the big arrival of Baby Dallner! I am starting to get a little stressed with things to do! This weekend we went a registered at Babies R Us for a few things that we need. That made me feel better. We decided to go as a family because I thought is was a good idea for Molly to be involved. She was such a good girl. She really enjoyed picking things out for the baby. She picked out this dinosaur for herself. It is actually a toothbrush holder, but will probably never see a toothbrush, right now it is holding a tiny pink puppy and a super ball.
VERY EXCITING NEWS! We decided on bedding!!! I found this bedding on line on Friday night and we both liked it (this hardly ever happens), but it was $169.00. Which I thought was way pricey. BUT, while we were at Babies R Us I had to go to the restroom (of course) and walked past the clearance rack and there it was! On sale for $45.89. A 6 piece set! We got a blanket, bed skirt, 2 sheets, bumpers, and a diaper stacker. We wanted to do a different color scheme (Molly's room is pink and green), but we couldn't pass up this price! It was meant to be.
Here is a close up. We are going to paint the room pink and chocolate brown (MY FAVORITE!!!) I am very excited and can't wait to get started!
One of the other things I wanted to get started on is making meals to freeze for after we come home. My plan is to make double recipes I'm already making. So, tonight I made my first one, spaghetti casserole. This is Chrissy's recipe and is always a great one! Can't wait to have it tomorrow and in a few months!
Delicious and so easy!!!

We are very excited for this baby to get here. Molly really wanted us to put the crib up this weekend. Molly seems to be taking things pretty well, but also is also wanting to be the baby. She wants me to hold her like a baby and feed her her "bottle". I know this will be quite and adjustment for her, and that makes me super nervous, but I hope that by including her in everything she will feel like this is her baby too. We can only hope. I know that my sister is a wonderful blessing in my life and I hope that they will be as close as Andrea and I.
I will keep you posted on all of our progress!

60 Days to Go!!!

60 days from today we will have an new baby girl!!! We are so excited and can not wait! We are excited that January is here so we can start working on the nursery! We still have a ways to go, but are hoping for the best. She is a very active baby, she is kicking like crazy! We can't wait to meet this little soccer player!

Happy New Year!

Me and My Man!
Me and My Girl! She was such a good girl at dinner!
She really loved her pizza!
This plate was completely full of pizza! We think Molly must be going thru a growth spurt!

We had a great New Years Eve dinner at Bravo! We went early and were home before the crowds. Molly was a very good girl, she even got complimented by another diner.

We have had a wonderful week at home just relaxing and enjoying each other. We have had lots of family game nights (Hungry Hungry Hippos is our favorite!) We met the Judy's at Monkey Joes. We got all of our Christmas gifts put away! We watched 4 movies (The Proposal, Iron Man 2, Management, and Beauty and the Beast) Took down all of our Christmas Decorations (I'm always so sad to see them go). Andy cleaned both cars. Andy got lots of Playstation time (although I'm sure not enough in his mind ;) ) And took lots of naps!!! What a great vacation!

We are very excited for the New Year.
