Christmas Day!

Oh, Christmas morning.....
The build up, the planning, the worrying, the stressing.
I hope its as magical and wonderful as I always hope it will be.
Molly was the first up.
She is crawling in our bed at night, so she opened her eyes,
didn't say a word and got up and went to the living room to find this waiting....

Santa came!!!!

We gently woke up Lainey and Daddy and got down to business!
Molly asked for ornaments that were Santa and Pickles.
She got her wish.

She was so excited to get the talking Twilight My Little Pony
she has been wanting forever!
Little bug was very excited to get diapers for her babies!
She wanted to open them right away!
Squinkies!
A changing table!
Big sisters are very helpful.

A pillow racer!
Ladybug, of course!

They also had presents from Grandma and Grandpa Dallner
and Mommy and Daddy to open.

I think our little Bug got overwhelmed.
Annabelle can be very comforting.

Monkey bread for breakfast!
I wish I would have gotten more pics than I did.
Oh well.
I did take some pics of my favorite decorations this year...
All of our past Christmas pics.
My Coca-Cola box from Grandma held all of our Christmas
books that we read every night.
Our stockings.
I loved all of our Christmas cards around the chalkboard.
Lainey's tree.
Molly's tree.
We spent the whole day just relaxing and playing with toys.
It was a wonderful day.

I am so thankful for this precious family of mine.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, as well.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful, fun filled Christmas Eve!
I had a few Christmas activities that I still wanted to do,
so it was the perfect day to get everything in.

These first two pics were from the night before, but I thought they were
cute, so included them.
We got their picture taken, then had a family dinner out!
I know!  Shocker!  We never go out!
Even with a 30 minute wait, the girls were so good!

So, anyway, back to Christmas Eve....
We had gingerbread cookies to bake.

And Reindeer food to make.

The girls really got into it this year!

Those reindeer need lots of carbs to help them fly.
A little magic flying powder helps too.

Lainey had a blast!

Then we headed off to St. Charles to check out their Christmas parade.

The girls enjoyed playing around and watching the horses.

This would have been so cute if the nice man who offered to
take it would have just taken one step back :)
One, Two Three JUMP!

The parade was short and sweet, but the kids enjoyed it.
Then it was back home to decorate cookies!
Yum!  (Cute even though its blurry)
I love when the girls play together and are squealing through the house.
It doesn't usually last that long before someone is
hurt or mad, but it is one of my favorite things.
Then we were off to spread the reindeer food....
For some reason this is one of my favorite things we do.
I think it is so cute and magical.
Especially when they dance around it with tongues out ;)
Of course we had to swing a few minutes before going back inside.
We miss the warm weather and time on the playground.

Hopefully there was some left for the reindeer....
Such a fun day.

I hope they remember these times fondly.
They make my heart so full.

Santa Stop

Every year the Maryland Heights Fire Department
brings Santa Clause
around to several neighborhoods
to visit the kids!
We are lucky enough that one of the stops
is right in front of our house!
It is always very exciting to see those lights coming down the road!

Lainey still wasn't a big fan, but Molly was very excited!
