Dallner Christmas Eve

We are going to Indy for Christmas, so of course we are doing Christmas a little early. Tonight we wrote Santa's letter, put food out for the Reindeer, and begrudgingly left a cookie out for Santa. When I told Molly to pick out a cookie to leave for Santa, she was very upset. She did NOT want to give Santa one of HER cookies! There were tears and all. So, I suggested we leave Santa some crackers. NO! MY Crackers! So, eventually she agreed to give Daddy a cookie and Daddy was nice enough to give his cookie to Santa, which is why there is only one lonely cookie on Santa's plate. She was very generous with the Reindeer food, though. She really enjoyed spreading that out on the deck. She did tell Louie that he could not eat it, that is is only for the Reindeer! She is so funny sometimes!

Baking Cookies

Today was our first day of Christmas Vacation! Chrissy came over and had lunch and spent some time with us, which was really fun and great to see her. Molly had to show her all of her toys, which was pretty funny. In the afternoon Molly and I made sugar cookies. Molly really loved decorating them. As you can tell, she really liked putting on the sugar and candies! She is such a sweet girl and I am so happy to have this time off with her.

Breakfast with Santa...at the Zoo!

Today we had a special treat! We went to Breakfast with Santa at the Zoo! What a nice event. It was a sit down breakfast/brunch. The food was delicious! We got to see a lot of characters and of course, Santa! Molly got a nice goody bag and we got a picture with Santa to take home. Molly enjoyed the breakfast, but she is still a little timid around the characters and was very shy with Santa. This was a great holiday treat and one that we can hopefully make a yearly tradition!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Yesterday Molly got a nice surprise---some early Christmas presents from Grandma and Grandpa! She got some great stuff...Chutes and ladders, a Dora book, a Thomas the Train video, a Princess CD player and M&M's. She loves it all! Especially the CD player! She loves to dance to it! Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa! We can't wait till January!

Saturday Shopping and No Santa

We spent Saturday shopping and tried to go to see Santa but the line was extremely long and Molly wasn't really into it so we didn't stay, but we got these great shots outside.

The Princess and the Frog and Molly

Friday we went to see the Princess and the Frog! What a great time! Molly really liked it! It was really cute and the music was great! My mom came in town to babysit Molly because we had both of our Christmas party this weekend. Mom brought Molly the Prince Naveen frog and she loved it and loved giving it kisses!
