1st Annual Nutcracker

This year I thought it would be nice to
take Molly to see the Nutcracker.
I thought it would be something nice for her and I to do together.
I knew she would love the dancing and the outfits,
but I was worried about her sitting there the whole time.
So, we went to see a local production instead of a big professional one.
We were very excited to go on our date!

I think someone wanted to go too!
Me and my big girl.
Sometimes I can't believe how grown up she is.
When you go to the nutcracker you must have.....
a Nutcracker!!!!
She loved it!
She was so cute!
She stood the whole time (luckily no one was behind her)
and twirled and danced along with them.
By the end I think she was ready to go,
but I definitely would like to take her to a nicer one
next year.
I would like to make it a family tradition!
On a side note, I was cracking up when Molly
opened the purse she had packed to bring with her
and there was a pony, a painted shell, chapstick
and this picture of Mimi.
Too funny!
I so enjoyed my time with my girl!
The first of many trips to the Nutcracker, I hope!!

Breakfast with Santa

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is
our annual Breakfast with Santa!
The last few years we have gone to Eckert's Orchard
and they do such a great job!

The girls were very excited!
I was excited about their adorable matching
outfits from Mimi!
Gotta love the tongue.
Really into striking a pose these days.
Love my little kissy girl.

Writing her list for Santa:
She wants an ornament that really looks like Santa
and one that really looks like our elf Pickles.
I love that she shares my love for ornaments.
My beautiful family.
It was such a yummy breakfast!
Love Lainey's face in this one!

Santa and Mrs. Clause come around to your table and take pictures!

Lainey was in a great mood until Santa got too close!
Molly was so excited!

Molly could not be more excited!
Lainey was starting to panic!

Candy canes!
Then it was off to get a pic on Santa's Lap.
Molly is telling him about Lainey.

Sooo, while in line I told Molly:
"Now listen, your sister is going to cry.
You just sit there and smile and don't worry about her"
It worked....
I couldn't even calm her down.
Then it was off to decorate cookies.
They love this part!

Kissy!
I love this family so much.

Even the tongue.

Our end result.....

Is it wrong that I love it????
