Christmas Extravaganza!

What a great helper!

Turkey Cookies, yum!

So Pretty!

Somebody's worn out from the Extravaganza!
Today I wanted to have a Christmas Extravaganza! I know a lot of people think we are a little early, and others think we are a little late! Today we made blueberry muffins, turkey cookies and decorated for Christmas. Molly was such a good helper. She helped me add ingredients and helped stir. Today she was play cooking and it was so cute. She had a bunch of numbers in a pan and was stirring them and adding seasoning to it. I told her she was making Number Soup. She would pretend to taste it and say "Yummmm". It was so sweet. So she enjoyed doing the real cooking with Mommy. She was a little scared of the electric mixer, but we got through it. I think she enjoyed the candy that went on the Turkey cookies more than she liked the cookies!
We (I) also put up the Christmas tree today. I was very excited to do this as a family. My family was not as excited. Andy always thinks its too early, and Molly mostly wanted to throw the ornaments. But we (I) got it done and with only 1 ornament casualty. Molly liked looking at the ornaments, and I gave her the soft ones to put on the tree.
I am really very excited for Christmas this year. It is always my favorite holiday, but I think this year is really going to be special. I think Molly is going to have so much fun opening her gifts. Everything seems to get more special and more fun the older she gets. I want to make wonderful memories for her. She is so full of life and joy that it is infectious and you just want to give her the world! I know we can't, but maybe Santa can!
