We are back from vacation (boo!)
Even though it flew by and none of us want to be back.
Oh well. {sigh}
At least we have a ton of pictures to look at.
I am going to mix in my instagram pics with my regular blogs,
since I missed Insta Friday....
We were crammed in to a tiny little car, but we made the best of it.
I made pillows for the girls that I found on Pinterest.
I also found some fun "road trip" things for us to do to try and make
getting there "half the fun"!
We had our road trip countdown that I hung along the car and we would
pull them down when we got to that city.
I had a map that Molly could follow along on.
That helped with the "how much farther" question.
And lots and lots of toys!!!!
We had a great trip down, no problems at all.
The girls could not have been better!
They are good little travelers.
We met up with the rest of the family in McDonough, GA.
We were back on the road the next day...
Finally we were crossing over the bridge!
That wonderful bridge that takes us to our Island.
Makes me so happy.
Of course, the first thing we all did was jump in the pool!!!
Lainey wasn't so sure about it.
Then we all headed out to check out the beach!
Lainey was so funny.
She wouldn't give kisses to anyone,
but she would give Auntie An her cheek.
So cute.
This is her new thing...
Hands on her hips.
This is where I want to stay.
On the beach, her cuddled in my arms
Definitely one of my favorite memories of the week.
She let me cuddle her a lot on the beach.
It doesn't happen that often anymore.
She is very busy.
Just like these girls.
So busy.
Growing up so fast.
Love.
It didn't take Molly anytime to jump in!
This picture makes me laugh.
She did not like the water or the sand that first night.
It didn't take long before she was as big a fan as the rest of us.
The beach is definitely my happy place.
I am so happy there.
Andrea and Addi on their tandem bike.
Girls. Girls. Girls.
Hanging by the pool.
Quality time with Mimi.
Passing time at dinner.
Being silly.
Loving it.
Lots more pics to come.
It takes a while to go thru them....
