My clever little Sis did a Back to School party last year,
so I had to copy and have one to celebrate Kindergarten!
I stole some of her ideas and stole from my favorite
place of inspiration: Pinterest.
If you are ever looking for anything, ever, check here.
IT IS AWESOME!!!!
Anyhoo, here is my little party.....
I was able to do this without spending very much money at all.
This is a huge bonus in my Husbands opinion!
I made a rice krispie cake.
One of the biggest things was the milk!
I wanted to make sure we were able to practice opening milks.
As a parent, it is really hard to not be there for all the little things, like opening milks.
There is so much I have had to let go of during this process.
For those of you who know me, this is not easy for me.
I'm am a little bit of a control freak ;)
Just a bit.
All the books I used, we already had, so that was nice!
I found these window decorations at the Dollar Tree.
There was a ton in the pack.
I also found these pencil flags there.
I think that was Molly's favorite part!
I kept forgetting to buy pencils and almost didn't use them
and at the last minute found a bunch of pencils we have collected over the years in
our junk drawer!
It was a fun touch.
These were also a Dollar Store find....
They were fun to color.
Why are apples associated with school?
Just a random thought.
Daddy took the girls to Target so I could get the party set up.
She wanted to know what the sign said.
She was very excited!
Even more excited when she saw the rice krispie cake!
Please ignore the random Bud Light box on the counter.
I don't even know where we got the box,
but I had all the party stuff in it and forgot to hide it.
So, no, we have not gone through a box of Bud Lights, I promise.
She was checking everything out....
Do you think she was excited?
She loves parties!
So does this girl!
This was the perfect ending to her "Special Day"!
Happy Back to School everyone!!!
