Last Tuesday was Molly's last day before kindergarten,
so, I wanted to do something special.
I decided to take off a half day and spend the afternoon doing fun things with her.
Our first stop was Panera.
Panera is always so good.
We sat outside and enjoyed our yummy food.
I was quite content just eating and hanging with my girl,
but after Molly informed me that she was "bored" with me,
we played a very fun game of I Spy.
I Spy is the best way to entertain a 5 year old in a pinch.
Our next stop was the spa to get pedicures.
I was very nervous because you just never know if she will like something
or be so totally scared and shy that she won't participate.
It is hard to know which Molly will show up, brave or shy.
Luckily, it was brave.
She hopped right up into the chair.
She LOVED the warm water.
She was not very happy when they had to let the water out.
She kept asking why I still had water.
Mommy's feet needed a little more work than hers.
She looks so relaxed here, doesn't she?
She was such a good girl.
Being silly while the dryer is going.
The finished product!
She asked if we could do this everyday!
I wish, baby!
She picked purple with pink glitter hearts.
The hearts kinda bunched together and were only on her big toes,
so Daddy asked if they were already smudged.
THE NERVE!
NO DADDY THEY ARE PERFECT!!!
Silly boy.
Our next stop on our day of fun: Dave and Busters!
I was so excited to be able to talk her out of Chuck E. Germfest
She had come here earlier in the summer on a field trip and was
very excited to go back!
She had a great time showing me around.
As soon as we got there she took me over to this game
and told me Daddy had to win her a toy out of here.
It was too hard for anyone else.
Unfortunately, it was too hard for Daddy too.
(He took off early and met us at D & B.)
This was so exciting!
She hit 150 tickets on this machine and they just started pouring out!
She was so cute!
Daddy was nice enough to treat us to dinner there,
so I ran to get our little bug and we had
a yummy dinner!
My girl defiinitely knows how to milk something.
All day she kept talking about her special day...
"Is this because its my special day?"
"But, MOM, its my SPECIAL day!"
"Can't I have this ($2) sucker? It's my special day"
"NO, Lainey can't have some, its MY special day"
She gets this from Andy.
